Angel, I do truly feel so much better, I would have never thought I would be able to work out at the gym like I have (1-1/2 - 2 hrs) I know I look a 100% better... I started out at 248 and I'm currently 180, my goal is 150 at this point... I need to be more patient with myself, and quit comparing with others... Thanks for your words encouragement... Jeanne

Hiya Lisa, First of all I want to say.. I have never been able to get my water in. I've never been one to drink a lot of fluids to begin with. So this after 6 months is still a problem for me. 2nd.. I hate taking pills!! Some days I skip simply because I just don't want to take it anymore. I try to take it everyday, but I do skip every once in a while. 3rd.. Are we suppose to like going to the gym? because I must have missed that memo I hate going to the gym. Lucky for me that my hubby is really good about going and encourages me to go. I try to go about 4 days a week. But I don't like it. So you are definately not alone in this. ~Angel 255/222/152/118

Jeanne, I have been a slow loser all along. I am 6 mos out and have lost 65lbs. It will come off. I experienced a plateau recently and it is so hard. I understand. Don't get too down because if you keep doing the right things the weight will continue to drop. You're doing great! Don't beat yourself up anymore. Be happy! Debbie

Hi Jeanne, I'm sorry that you are feeling down right now. I'll be 6 months post op on tuesday. I'm currently down 70 lbs. So we're about the same. I just keep telling myself that I didn't gain it all over night. So I know it will take time to lose it. To be honest, this is the most i've ever lost in my life. From my highest weight i'm down 103. 70 of that is from surgery. How do you feel physically? I feel better than i've felt in years. I can breathe better and sleep better. I can walk quite a distance without tiring. I feel better about myself. Appearance, esteem etc. I'm truly feel blessed to have had this wonderful opportunity. Oh yeah.. my hair if falling out too. I'm going to be a skinny, bald chick soon. I wish I had the answer for the hair loss problem. But from what i've read on this board we just have to sit and be patient and it will start to grow back. I really hope soon!!! I don't know your starting weight or what your goal is. But sounds like you're doing fine. I hope you start to feel better soon. Good luck with the rest of your journey. ~Angel 255/222/152/118

Pamela.. I'm so happy for you! Don't you just love these little wow moments. It's like no one in the world but us can understand the feeling. I still look in the mirror and wonder if it's really me looking back. Believe me there are many more moments like that coming your way!! ~Angel 255/222/152/118
