Roni - I'm so sorry that you're having to deal with this! It's wonderful that you are having success but I can certainly understand your fears. What are the odds that your parents will help you out? If they can I think I'd go for the revision (that's just me). You are doing such a good job and have a great attitude. Things will work out for you. Take care and keep us posted! Deb

Topic: 100LBS Today!!!
I cannot even believe it, I made 100lbs!! I actually cried when I stepped on the scale. I am off to the DR to make it official. I just happen to have an appt today - how great is that! I wouldn't say it has been easy but boy, it has been so uneventful. Other than a few panic stalls, it has just peeled off. I am loving life today, and nobody is gonna bug me!!!

Congrats Karry! Today is my 6 month anniversary too! I almost forgot until about an hour ago when I looked at the calendar. I was completely caught up in Mother's Day festivities. Sometimes it seems like it was yesterday, other times it is hard to remember what life was like before WLS. Congrats on your anniversary and on your loss! Roni 242/163/136

Hiya Karry!! Congratulations. My anniversary is on Wednesday and I SOOO want to lose 2 more pounds by then because that will make me in the NORMAL RANGE - I cant believe that - it doesnt seem like it should be real, but it is! I am so thankful that I was able to have this surgery. I am SO much healthier - I FEEL so much better and I feel so much better ABOUT myself as well. Cant wait to see your pic! God bless you and keep you, ~Andrea 223/138/123

Hiya Leighann, I know exactly how you feel. I am somewhere around 5'2" as well. They said I was 5'1" when I had my surgery which was fine with me because I was a borderline qualifier, however I still call myself 5'2", lol. I think it is truly more accurate anyway. Well anyway at 180 I was SQUEEZING myself into a 16 and that is where I stayed until about 155. Once I hit 155 the sizes started dropping dramatically. I was buying stuff on ebay in a 14 and by the time it got here I was a 12!! I am now an 8, but I wonder for how long. I am still losing but cant imagine being a 6, or my goodness a 4?? I dunno - I doubt I will ever see that. I have 15 lbs to go to my goal so how much difference can this last 15 lbs make? At any rate, dont sweat it - the closer you get to goal the quicker the sizes will change and you wont be able to keep up. Also, you say the last time you saw 180 was when you were 14. I am not sure how old you are now but our body shapes do change as we get older. I have had 3 children and my poor old belly (and other areas) will never be the same -unless I need plastic sugery - then I can have the belly (and other areas, lol) of an 18 year old again. But, for me, unless I medically need that I wont be doing it. I am happy with where I am at because I am SOOO much healthier - so what if I have a little gut the rest of my life - if this is the worst I am then I will take it!! God bless you and keep you, ~Andrea 223/138/123

All in due time......I am currently 191 and I am 5'7" and in a loose 14 tight 12 pants. BUT I am 5 inches taller than you. You should be very proud of your accomplishments. I also have the excess belly skin. Hoping to get my TT in Jan. Looking at your numbers it looks like you have lost almost 100 pds. Thats Awesome!!!! Be proud of the weight coming off not what number pants your in. Keep up the great work and remember we didn't gain all that weight overnight, we sure won't lose it that way!!! Karry 311/191/167 goal
