Hi there, I have been going to Curves since two months out and working those arms with weights.
Unfortunately, after a certain age the skin won't bounce back. I have good muscles in my arms but the "wings" underneath are starting to drag on the floor.
I'm sad to tell you that the only answer is living with them or surgery. But keep up the exercise...its good for you and helps the weight loss.

Lean Cuisines do not have much SUBSTANCE at all! You're OK. I wouldn't worry about that at all!

Well, if I tell you that, I'd have to kill you!
I just looked at fitday.com and I've been having a bad few days. My husband went to work and that explains it! He takes better care of me than I do!
In gereral though
About 50oz of fluids.
75-100 grams of protein per day.
20-85 grams of carbs (huge variation there, huh? lol)
20-40 grams of fat (I don't count fat at all!)
Total calories 750-1150 per day! Wow! Huge variation there too BUT I do like to shake up the calories. I find it confuses the body and keeps the weight loss going!
Thanks for doing this! I really needed this posting!
Hugs,

Yep! I'm a bad girl too! I have never eaten breakfast! The nutritionist told me that 95% of her diabetes patients don't eat breakfast. I got a long speech about why it is THE most important meal of the day!!! Yes, of the day! It does many things but it jump starts the metabolism and will assist in losing!! OK, so this means what for me?
Now, because I can drink coffee for breakfast, I have a coffee flavored protein drink that I've learned to make at home. I use starbucks coffee and it tastes JUST like a Starbucks Frappacino! Really! I love it! It also gives me a head start on protein at 35 (I only count 30 at a time though) grams.
I just thought I'd pass this on. I'm thinking if you add something for breakfast, that 13 pounds might DROP OFF faster than you can say "BOO!"
Good luck! You look great!
Hugs,
~Vanessa

Everybody at work was telling me all these exercises to do to firm up the area. I told them to feel my muscles I am tone underneath but would need to have muscles of a bodybuilder to fill in all that skin. LOL Mine has been stretched for at least 30 years. If you find anything that will shrink the skin let me know. Good Luck!!!

Since I'm still unemployed - today for the first time in EVER I watched The View - I knew Starr Jones was losing some weight for her wedding - but she looks very very thin today & of course I'm wondering if indeed she has had gastric bypass. I did a web search but can only find speculation... Not that I generally follow gossip or particularly care about celebreality - but was curious - did she/ I've heard nothing or is she unwell? This sounds rather silly - she looks so tiny - shorter - it's the same thing I experienced - when I lost my behind - I sat shorter in chairs & family commented on it
Also - on a more focused note - who knows what exercises I can do to strengthen the muscles in the back of my arms & reduce the batwings?
Anyways - have a great day all.
