Oh Tracey, I'm so happy for you!! It is such a good feeling. I'm on my way to being normal. I can't wait. I remember how excited I was to finally be overweight. Enjoy it because before you know it you will be normal on those charts. Keep up the good work!! God bless, ~Angel 255/222/138/118 BMI 27.0

I had my surgery on 11/16/04- starting weight was 302. I have lost 73 pounds since surgery and 86 from my highest weight. I have another 69 pounds to make it to my goal weight. I have been struggling alot with depression since surgery and coming to terms with life. I am seeking help finally. I am having a hard time with eating carbs too. My greatest WOW moments are 1) being able to cross my legs again - even under my desk at work and 2) being able to move again. Shelly 302/229/160

Hi All, I am so glad I saw this post. I am having a terrible time not restarting to eat like I used to. I am stuck on pretzle logs. At first it was just one then 1/2 a package then a whole package at work and a whold package at home each day. So, I am doing the plateau buster idea I saw on here a little while ago. I just began today with my friend Carol. It is 10 days of eating 3 oz of protien 5 times a day. s/f popsickles are allowed along with s/f jello oh and 45 gms of protien shake each day. I will let you know about my progress. It really helps getting on here all the time. So, I am back. Wish me luck. Lizzi

Ok, I had my surgery on Nov. 10th. I am down 84 lbs since surgery and 117 total from highest weight. I am only 18 lbs from my surgeon's goal and 20 from mine. I feel wonderful. I can run!!! I haven't run in years. I can breathe again, which is always nice. My wow moments, 1. I lost 117 lbs! The most weight I've ever lost in my life. 2. People who are seeing me for the first time since surgery and not even recognizing me. 3. I was able to use the seat belt on the airplane last month!! There have been many WOW moments. But for now I'm just really enjoying being me for a change. I like the person I see in the mirror. God bless, ~Angel
