Thanks Kay. Good luck with your surgery as well. Let us know when you get a date. Mine went very well. I'm very pleased with the results. They removed 4.5 lbs of extra skin from my abdomen. I'm finally in a normal BMI. I'm down to 126 lbs.

Topic: Had PS 4 days ago....am I on target?
I had an abdominoplasty last Thursday and will return to doctor tomorrow to get the drains removed. Binder is tight and has not been removed yet so I can't see anything that has been done. I certainly hurts a lot and feels like something was done..lolol. I am just taking Tylenol today and my big "pain ball" that was implanted has deflated and will removed tomorrow as well. This certainly hurt worse that the bypass did but I expected that to be the case. Insurance would not pay for my breasts so they will just have to wait until I save up or hit the lottery--whichever comes first! Am I on track with this pain thing? Also, I have not gone to the bathroom yet since surgery despite eating normal foods and taking Colace to help soften stool. Been drinking lots of fluids too. Any suggestions?
Topic: Anyone else pregnant?
Well, here I am getting ready to see my surgeon for my 18 month check up and I'm also 28 wks pregnant. This will be my first appt. with him that he's going to see me gain instead of losing! LOL I had reached both of our goals in weight loss and got his blessing to go ahead and start trying for a baby at my 12 month check up. I can't believe this little one will be here in less than 3 months!! My pregnancy has gone amazingly well and I can't complain about a single thing. This is my first pregnancy as a thin person, so there is a HUGE difference. I had my sugar test (didn't have to drink that stuff. Just a blood draw) and we'll see how I test for gestational diabetes. I had it with my other 2 kids that I had before WLS, so if I don't with this one, I really think that will speak wonders about what this surgery has already done in my life!! Baby is growing great and evidently, so am I! Anyone else pregnant since having WLS? How is it going for you? Well, just wanted to drop by and give a little update and see how others of you are doing.

How exciting!! I can't wait to get ps, but that's a few years away. We are going to finish having children first, so no need to get it done and re-stretch it out. I wish you all the best!! Keep us updated on your dates and progress!!
