I don't know if I should say lucky you, or unlucky you???
I know they tell us to do as low carb as possible. I find certain carbs sit o.k, but overall not very well.
Take care,
Karry

Dear Karry,
I think it's the white flour. I'm good for about 2 ounces and then I fart my brains out, oh yes with a "little" diarrhea thrown in too. So, I don't have it very often knowing what I know. I have to be willing to live with the consequences. And occasionally I am. Last nite, linguine with clam sauce -- YUM.
Best regards,
Fern B.

Congratulations Sonya...you are working your tool. I do understand how you feel...I've been stuck at 165 for a while and it use to concern me but considering I came from a size 24/26 and now wearing sizes 8-10 I have stopped stressing over the scale. I have decided this week to change my exercise routine as I believe my body has become accustomed to the program I'm doing, so to jump start my weight loss again I'm changing the exercise program and no more white foods (i.e. potatoes, crackers, etc.).
Good luck on loosing that 14 pounds and I know you can do it

Topic: RE: How much have you lost??
Hello Carrie,
First let me congratulate you on your weight loss thus far
!!! I think you've done a wonderful job and think...what else could you have done to loose 80 pounds so quickly? I do understand you being a little concerned, but I often tell people they shouldn't let the scale dictate how they're progress is going. I too was a "scale" person, but it wasn't until I thought I was on a plateau at one point and didn't see the scale move for a while, but...the inches were melting away and so much so that I'm now wearing a size 8/10 after coming from size 24W/26W. I began this journey at 285.4 pounds and now weigh @165 pounds so that'll put me at a loss of 120 pounds. I was taken aback by that, but realized there's nothing I did previously that would have allowed me to loose this amount of weight in such a short time.
Be thankful for what you've lost so far and again I congratulate you on your success now and in the future.
Continued success...Ms. Praise

Ok - so I am not alone - thanks so much for replying.....
Heidi - I was at 267 also and my Doctors goal is 148... I will
try what you two suggested - it sounds like to me that I need
to put a little bit more effort in to it... Also another question is -
when will the weight loss stop - I am assuming it's almost there -
but my husband keeps asking, when it's going to stop.... I do
believe he has issues with my weight loss....
Thanks
Sonya

I started at 207 (228 high weight) and weigh 156 now. I lost 72 pounds altogether and 51 since surgery. Percentage wise it all works out.
I'm still going at it...goal is 23 more pounds! I feel like we'll get there, just don't give up!

I have lost 100-105 pounds. I tinker between the 100 and 105 as I have been eating a lot in comparison to what I ate during the first 6 months. I hardly exercise too which I know is a problem.
