One Year Anniversary

I can't believe I found this board yesterday and today is my one year anniversary. It has been an amazing year. I have lost 144 pounds. The day of surgery I weighed 328. This morning I weighed 184. I was wearing a size 28 - 30 and today I wear a 16. My family and friends have been so supportive. I am thankful for this opportunity to get my life back. Angie

Congratulation Angie!!!! This board isn't a very busy one, but it's nice to see what is happening to people that had the surgery the same time. I started at 278 and am now 152 and in a size 4 or 6. I don't think at the age of 9 I could have gotten in these clothes. Isn't life wonderful Tee

Congratulations and happy anniversary to you. I also had surgery one year ago today and it has been a wonderful year, I have not had any problems and to date I have lost 128 lbs. I was hoping for a 100 lb. lost last year at this time so I am thrilled with my success. That is one thing I try and remember when I get discouraged when the pounds are coming off slow now.
