Now it all makes sense...

I am pregnant!! LOL No wonder the darn scale hasn't really budged in a couple weeks! Just thought I'd share our news! We are really excited since we have battled infertility for YEARS!! I am 10 months post op tomorrow and found out yesterday that we are pregnant. And of course, the morning sickness had to arrive first thing this morning. LOL God is good Erica 258/143.5/140ish

We should email hehe I found out a few weeks ago that I am also pregnant. I am due in May. But it does help make sense as to why the scale kind of stopped moving. Mine was totally not planned, we thought we were done...but now we are excited!! Babies are beautiful, thats for sure! The pregnancy board here...wow...it flies!! I don't check it for a day, and there are way too many posts to catch up on. But the ladies there are awesome. Congrads and I pray you have a wonderful and healthy pregnancy!! Michelle, Isn't that funny? We actually started trying this month figuring it would take a while since we have battled infertility for so many years. I have PCOS and it's pretty bad. Even with the help of lots of fertility meds last summer (before getting approved for RNY) we never got pregnant. I feel all pregnancies happen in God's timing, so I take this as nothing short of the blessing it truly is. It looks like we are both only about 3lbs from goal too! Too funny!! I actually could lose another 10-15 to be well within my ideal weight, but 140 was where I would actually find myself in the "ideal" range. I don't really care though. I am so much healthier today than I have been in years and I know everything will be fine. I'd love to keep in contact with you My email is [email protected]. It'd be nice to have a buddy to go through this with. I am also due in May. May 16th from my last period, but I think it will be May 23rd since I am a late ovulator and when I do ovulate, it's on the 21st day of the month. That's kind of cool though since my son's birthday is May 23rd though! Are you having morning sickness yet? I am only about 5 weeks right now. How about you? I see my doctor for my first appt in a week and a half and we'll be having an u/s done at that appt, which is exciting. Congrats to you as well and I'm sure we'll be talking Erica 258/143/140ish

Guys, Thanks so much for being so kind! Unfortunately, we just lost the baby yesterday. We are very upset and part of me wonders if it's because I had the surgery, but I also know that there are tons of women who are post op who have gotten pg and had very healthy babies, so I just have to accept that God had other plans for this little one. My first son passed away when I was 23.5 weeks along, so I know he is taking care of this baby until we can be with them again. Thanks again for your support and prayers. God bless! Erica
