What is the one rule that your Dr. wants you to follow, that you find hardest to stick with?? Mine is not drinking right before, during or for 1/2 hour after I eat. I get SO thirsty when I am eating!! Anyone else have this problem?

Mine is water in general. Honestly after almost 7 months I feel like I am drowning. I really try but getting in 64oz a day is torture. And like you I want to drink when I eat but that is an even bigger no-no. So struggling & drowning.

My hardest thing is not having any carbs after breakfast....MAN is that hard!!! I absolultly love my carbs...So it makes it real hard to stick to that rule! As far as the water goes...I just love the new flavored waters that Aquafina and Dasini have out....try those their yummy!!! Karry 311/182/167 goal

I just love water!!! It seems like my body craves it!! I drink about 5 bottles a day!! I love it. I just wish I didn't crave it at meal time!! How have any of you adjusted to NOT drinking during that time...I admit, I really struggle with that. I don't even need the flavored water, but I may try it!! Is it much more expensive than the regular? I guess I have never paid attention. I just have a bottle with me all the time. Everywhere I go, I have it. Teresa

I struggle with not drinking with my meals as well. Honestly, what helps me is to not even have it on the table with me. I will drink right before eating though. ITs the during and right after that are not good for us. Actually drinking right before may help you to not eat as much. I finish eating then watch the clock. I find that if I do try to drink too soon after, that my pouch hurts so its kind of a good thing, keeps me waiting the 30 minutes. Janet

Yep, mine is exercise! I don't like it but I know I have to do it. I have no excuse except laziness. There is a fitness center right here in my apt. complex and a pool. I know it will help me. blessings, patti

Mine is getting enough protein. Every time I get my bloodwork done my protein is just a tiny bit below normal. I take all my vitamins and all my other nutrient levels were great! In fact, my B12 was even a little above normal so my dr. told me I can take a b12 pill every other day now instead of every day. But protein is so hard for me to get in! Mostly because protein shakes me feel so sick and meats make me full after a few bites. Leighann 275/166/130

Hi Teresa I have had some problem with that too, however I seem to be doing better with it now. Anyhow MY worst thing is exercise I need to badly, and I just can't bring myself to. I know I have to get past this if I am to mantain my weight. Take care KatherineL
