A silly distinction but WOO HOO

Anyone else but the folks here would think I was nuts, but as of yesterday my BMI is no longer in the "morbidly obese" range!!! WOWIE!!! The last time I weighed this little was well over 20 years ago. I have a waist and a collar bone... True, I have a ways to go and I am by no means thin or even "average", but I am NO LONGER MORBIDLY OBESE. Not only that, but I can wear heels again and even dance in them!! Hugs to all of you...Jo

Congratulations! These lines of obesity don't mean squat to anyone except those of us who have a weight problem. I to weigh less now than I did 20 yrs ago, it feels so good don't it? I cherished the moment I went from Morbidly Obese to just Severely Obese... Now I'm looking for that next lil milestone from Severely Obese to just Obese... on 6/10 of a bmi point away! h & p's

Not a silly distinction.... and not nuts at all.... that is wonderful.... it is the reason we have undergone a surgical procedure.... to wipe that word "morbid" from our charts... we don't want death associated with our weight..... that is wonderful..... congratulations! b

I think I need to plan a trip to Santa Rosa soon!! I think the kids would love to go to Bodega Bay to the beach too!! WTG!!! Nice work, I'm so happy for you. It is a wonderful feeling I know. I'm still considered overweight but that's just fine with me. Not being MORBIDLY Obese is just fabulous. Gives you a new lease on life! Keep up the good work. I know you have more to go but we will all reach our goals eventually. So have fun while you wait.
