How much do you eat now?
I am just curious how much you all can eat now!
I eat about 2-3 ounces of protein and then I can usually eat a Tbsp, maybe 2 of a vegetable or something. Since adding the veggies at 6 monthes, per Dr. recommendations, I DO feel like I am eating more, but I don't really think its much. I am still losing pretty good even though I am getting closer to goal! I reached the 100 lb mark last week and right now I have lost 103 lbs. I am losing between 8-10 pounds per month, but since now I only have about 65-70 lbs to lose, to get to MY goal, I am sure it will slow down!!
So how about you?? How much are you eating?? I guess since adding the veggies, it just makes it seem like I am eating more......

Hiya Teresa,
I am definitely eating more now - at lunch and dinner I probably have a total of 8 oz of food - protein and veggie. I also have a snack in between each meal, like a cheese stick. For breakfast I eat a protein bar (low carb). My loss has slowed down very much but I am close to goal - I have 13 lbs to lose to reach it. This 13 lbs though may take a few months at the rate things are going now. Even if I never reach it I am so much better off and so happy even with the way I feel now.
God bless you and keep you,
~Andrea
Well, it depends. If it's protein, I can only eat about 3-4oz. If it's a carb, veggies, fruit, or bad carbs, usually about a cup. If it's good carbs, or like whole wheat bread, just like one slice. The more fiber or protein, the less I can eat. That's usually how I know whether it is good for me or not. If I can eat a lot of it, it's probably not good for me.

-92lbs. getting close to the century mark!
I'm about on par with Pam - If it's good for me I have to or can only eat less - But currently my total intake per meal is about 8oz of food.
I eat a variety at meals - protein & veggies with very little or no carbs.
Though I still have a small handful of animal cookies each day - they feel really good on my stomach - and are a lot lower in calories than other choices - Since my stomach is so difficult sometimes I feel this is my one small way to appease it & I do make sure I get in all of the good stuff.

WOW,
I still only eat about 4oz-5oz of food 3x a day and drink two protein drinks (about 15g protein each) each day. Sometimes I have a snack as well usually cheese or sun flower seeds.
I usually get no more than a bite or two of veggies/fruit but do usually eat 4oz of protein each meal.

Hi Teresa,
I was thinking the same question, so I was glad when I came upon your posting. Here's a look at a typical day for me. AM-Protein Shake, breakfast-2 Boca sausages with an egg or whole grain waffle or Atkins peanut butter protein granola bar - lunch-(sometimes, I don't always eat lunch) something like chicken with some lettuce and tomato-protein shake in the afternoon and a snack like a Hood Carb Countdown Atkins yogurt smoothie-dinner- grilled turkey burger with cheese on a piece of lettuce, with 1/4 cooked bulghar wheat and veggie like steamed or grilled zucchini( I don't put butter so sometimes I put a Tbsp of tomato sauce on it) or for days when I have no time, I keep on hand some Weigh****chers or Lean Cusine frozen meals(they have lower carb versions). Hope this info is helpful
