I havent been on this page for a while, so please forgive me...I noticed that quite a few of you have lost 100lbs or more. I'm getting worried. I've only lost 82lbs so far. Am I way behind? I started at 285 and am now 203. I'd love to get an update on where everyone is right now. Thanks alot, Amy Nolen

I've stopped - at 70 pounds- have been here for WEEKS - think I need to kick start myself with a good bike ride or a run or something - will be interesting to see where everyone else is... I'm a little discouraged at my loss - but the inches keep coming off & I feel healthy - so... I count those blessings 304/232/155

Hiya Amy, You cant base your weight loss on other people's weight loss - we are all different. I have lost 86 lbs - but I am way beyond where I thought I would be. I have 14 lbs to lose to get to goal! I have lost 86% of my excess weight. Some people have lost lots more than me - some have lost less but we have all lost LOTS of WEIGHT!! Could you ever have imagined in your wildest dreams that you could lose 82 lbs in 6 months?? I thought it would take much longer - I was figuring on MAYBE being this far at the 1 year mark. These last 14 lbs though are going to be tough. My losing is very slow now but it is going to happen. I follow Dr.'s orders on my food/water intake and I exercise 3 - 4 times per week. There is no way it isnt going to come off so however long it takes I am fine with that. I am so thankfull for all that I have lost so far - I am SOOOO much healthier and I look so much better also. I have to say that even if I didnt lose any more (although I know I will) I would be very happy with where I am at. I am 1 lb above havning a normal BMI (136) and I am 5 lbs above the top weight range for women of my height with a medium build (118-132) and I am 14 lbs from my ultimate goal - that would make me a century club member! Well I guess what I am trying to say is dont sweat it (or maybe do sweat it if you are exercising, lol) the weight will come off if you are following your doctor's orders! God bless you and keep you, ~Andrea 223/137/123

I've lost 122pds. and have 22 left to hit my goal, but like Andrea said everyone loses at their own pace... I work hard at it though...I REALLY watch what I eat and drink a lot of fluids....I could exercise a little more but I chase 2 boys under the age of 4 all day, that counts as exercise right??? Hi Florida friend You are doing awesome!!! Like everyone said before me - we are all different. Some of us are tall, short, large framed, small framed, heavier, lighter, and so on. As for me I've lost 84 pounds and have 25 till goal, 16 to normal BMI. Keep up the great work Amy and all of you November pals! Hugs, Dru

I am stuck at 70#, I started at 297, but I feel great and am trying hard not to stress it. Believe in your own individual success. 82# is fantastic....

Yup Amy...we are all different and all doing well I think. I have only lost 68...the 22nd will be my 6 month anniversary and I would love to be farther along but I'm not complaining...I was only hoping to get to a size 14 and now my 12's are starting to fall off me. We will all get there in our own due time. Lori 231/163/130

Yep, all different. I started at 350, I am officially now 260, so 90 lbs. gone forever! I have a long way to go though, at least another 70 or more. Don't know when I'll be done until I'm there. Pam

Hi all, I'm currently down 72 lbs since surgery. I'd like to lose another 32lbs. This is the most i've ever lost in my life. So I'm extremely pleased with the results so far. I'm a little jealous of Andrea.j/k We started around the same weight and are about the same height. She is doing amazing!!! She is my role model Well really it gives me hope that it can be done. The fact that i'm so very much healthier is a huge plus! I have a better quality of life now, I couldn't be happier! Good luck and God bless to all of my WLS bros and sisters ~Angel 255/222/150/118
