Ok, here's my sob story - I'm tired of only losing 4-5lbs a month. I'm now 6mos out and I know that weight loss slows down but....this is rediculous! I'm doing all the right things - 90g+ of protein, 64oz water, exercise 5-6 days a week. I'm not getting too many calories....I have lost 65lbs and today someone said that they didn't recognize me from the rear - that's good news (why she was looking at "my rear" I don't know - lol). I'm generally very happy - really. I just would love to see a 10 lb drop this month. Is that too much to ask?? Debbie 243/178/143 would be really nice - 135 would be heaven!!

Debbie - That's awesome! Remember that you are going to see it slow down now because you're in the "enviable 100's". I can't WAIT to break that 200 pound mark....33 more pounds to go yet. I read some profiles on here and get down, too, because I see people who had surgery AFTER me and are down over 100 pounds. I'm at 93 pounds right now, but I have to believe that my body is losing at the rate that it is supposed to. As long as you're doing all the right things, and it sounds like you are, don't compare yourself to others and just keep going. You're doing GREAT!! Denise

I too debbie am in the same boat....I only lose like 1 or 2 pounds a week. For me it's usually 1 pound then I have the week before my mens. and I don't lose AT ALL that week then I lose like 1-2 pds the week after. I've been caculating my weight loss on my pc since the middle of Feb. and I have lost 22 pounds since then. So thats like 8-9 weeks. I only average like 2 - 2 1/2 pds a week. I miss the 10 pds weeks!!!! I am a little discouraged at times but I think of all that weight I used to carry around with me....ughhhhh thats a relief!!!! Karry 311/190/167 goal

Thanks guys. I'm just gonna keep on truckin' along and believe that it will all eventually come off. I do feel better than I did last November and it's great to know that I'll NEVER be that heavy again! I appreciate your feedback. It's so nice to know that you guys are out here! Deb

I was told by nuitritionist you also need 100 grams of carbs daily. The only way to know all your figures...is to use the fitday.com cd. I bought it and it was mailed to me $29.95 or you can download from the net for $19.95...the free verison just gives you the highlights....for the total picture you need the verison you pay for. The price is small to all I been through. My nuitritionist advises fitday.com because she uses it at her office to review patients activity levels-food log-and how much protein and carbs daily. It is essential to do everything right everyday. I can not understand why people think $30 is out of sight for the best tool since surgery. Unless, they like to complain and whine about not losing. Hiya! Make room in that boat! I'm STUCK at 165 give or take a few, and also 6 mo out. Like you I'm planning to just keep going and take peace knowing it will eventually drop off. Sincerely, Julie

You have your right to whine....God knows I do!! I'd be happy with losing 4-5 lbs a month. I haven't lost anything for over 6 WEEKS! And I follow all the rules and the gym feels like a second home. My Doc says it's all going well and on schedule. We are light weight and we lose slower. Personally I think you are doing great!! I hope the scale fairy is kind to you this month!! ~Summer 240/175 still/145 (We increased my goal) I would love to be 135 too!!
