WOW moment at 6mo appt!!

Today I had my 6 month Dr's appt. As many of you know I haven't lost any weight for 6 weeks now...but my doc said I'm doing awesome and told me I look great. They just said i'm gaining more muscle (my body fat have dropped alot I chk @ the gym). To think I thought they would lecture me for not losing quicker. They assured me that I'll start losing again. They asked if I went down in clothing size since not losing- I have~ I went to a size 10 jeans so my body is still changing. The WOW-happened as the nurse took a after pic One of the insurance gals came out and asked me how often I work out. She then yelled into the office "Come check out her butt She's got buns of steel". I was in shock!! So two others came out to look. I think I was blushing! So this woman who is in awesome shape goes on to ask ME how often I work out my legs and tushie ie: what exercises etc!! Can you believe it?? I couldn't believe all the attention I got!! Now if I only could have Abs of steel!! My labs indictated I was low (again) in iron and my para thyroid levels have progressively increased (not good)~which means my body is taking calcium from my bones since I not absorbing enough!! So I'm getting a Dexa scan next week and need to find a new source of calcium! I'll probably add a liquid form! I just wanted to share with all you November babies!! That's why I was so surprised!! You wouldn't want to see my stomach........scary!! Talk about cottage cheesy!! And my big sausage arms are really getting me down!! I think I lost all my weight in my legs and hips so I went from Apple Shape to a Candy Apple on a stick !! Soon we will all be talking about plastic surgery!! You Andrea are looking awesome!! Nice job Summer! That's great. It's nice to get all of this attention huh? I recently went to a family party and my Uncle couldn't stop raving about how wonderful I looked. He told me that I looked 10 yrs younger. Since I just turned 41 yesterday. That was very nice to hear. It definately does feel good. Good for you! I'm so happy for you. ~Angel 255/222/150/118

Thanks Angel. I think you need a new pic where you are SMILING!! You have done so well!! Your uncle must have made you feel so awesome! It does feel good to hear compliments. I especially neede it after feeling so down about my long plateau!!! I know it seems silly but it's like you can't see the forest for the trees! (Is that the correct saying?). I'm in a fog w/ the negative self talk...not losing fast enough, still fat etc....then along comes some zingers....Wonderful Compliments.
