Weight Loss slowing down 5mos post op
Hi,
I have been a slow loser all along so i cant really say it has slowed down now.
You and I had surgery on the same day....... I have lost a total of 65 lbs.
I started at 260 and now i am 195.
I was upset about how slow in the beginning but now i am adjusting .
I am averaging about 10 lbs a month so i figure in 10 months thats 100 lbs.
How about you,,,,, where did you start and how much have you lost?
Dont get disgusted with it being slow,,, it will all come off eventually.

my all time high was at 226 at 5.0 I was short and puggy and you know how it is on short people we look like oompa loompas : ) ( I can say that) for the loss seemed to go pretty well until now. And Im am still drinking lots of water my weight loss is now 68lbs. I really would like to lose about 20 more lbs hummmmm question is can I do it ? Good Luck to you and try drinking more water !!! it worked for me in the begining
Yes, my weight loss is slower. I watch all calories going into my mouth, approx. 1100 per day, no more...nope....and I excercise more. About 8 lbs a months now. 97 lbs down altogether in 6 months. This surgery is work...especially now if you want the rest of the weight off. It is not a dream...we have got to work at it. Sandy in Tucson
Butting in here... sorry... Basically what I have done, and it's worked for me is to get back on track with HIGH protein, LOW carbs and LOTS of water. You definitely want to exercise too! That's my weak point, but I'm working on it... GOOD LUCK!!!

Definitely slowing down. I lost very quickly, 98lbs in 5 mos. Now I seem to be slowing to a trickle.
I am also having a really hard time with water again. For some reason I just feel like I am struggling to get any down at all.
I made an appt with the nutrionist, hopefully this will get me back on track.
