Back from Disney, my fears were groundless.

I had a wonderful time. Did you know those "lap" bars are actually supposed to touch your lap? Well this time they did, not that I had a lap before! We did a couple days at Universal Studios/Islands of adventure and I fit in all the coasters!! I had so much fun. The folks at all the restaraunts were wondeful once I explained the bypass. I was able to order from kids menu most of the time, no problem. The exception was of course buffets and the California Grille. I opted to order a full meal just for the taste of a truly gourmet meal. Here again the chef was wonderful, he actually talked to me to make sure what I could or could not eat. This was one of the best vacations I have had ever!

Well WTG Lisa! I'm so glad for you. Last time I went to Universal and Disney.. My kids wanted to get a wheel chair for me because they didn't think I could make it w/ all the walking. I didn't even attempt to do the rides. I could barely walk in the heat. I had to keep drinking water and sitting down at every bench. It was really a sad sight. I almost passed out a few times. Good for you that you were able to enjoy it. ~Angel 255/222/153/118
