I gained 11.5 pounds!!!

I am soooooo bummed out!!! I had surgery last Tuesday and gained 11.5 pounds from it! I can't get it off for the life of me! I know it's all the fluids they gave me and probably the infection that came later, but I am going crazy! Anyone witness this too? Thanks!

Very common after surgery. You need to really get your water in right now. Fluid in---fluid out.

Jennifer, Keep your chin up - it's hard to get rid of the fluid right after surgery. It will come off though. Don't beat yourself up. Keep drinking and you'll be fine. Deb

Jennifer, You have good advice, drink your water. You are carrying much fluid. Dont' weigh yourself. Be surprised when you have your first post op check up. You will be on cloud nine leaving the docs office. Pam
