Do any of you drink coffee, and if so, do you drink regular or decaffinated??

Hi there, My docs don't like coffee during the early post-op period because it is dehydrating and we are trying to get fluids IN...not out. But once we are getting all the fluids in (usually at about 3 months) they think its fine. I now have a (caffeinated) non-fat latte with sugar free hazelnut syrup at Starbuck's as a reward everytime I get to Curves, which is three times a week. I love it...YUM. It's a great high-protein treat. Everyone who has lactose problems...watch out for the soy lattes at Starbucks as they use vanilla soy milk which is full of sugar and carbs. Jo

I been buying my whole beans at Costco...they have been roasted by Starbucks and the price is $10 for 2 lbs. They are not as strong as Starbucks coffee....but very good and I can tolerate it alot better. I add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to cup of caff. coffee and sugar free Da Vinci syrup....omg so good and the price is like 1/10 over all over Starbucks. I did buy 2 big 32 oz bottles of Starbucks sugar free syrup......just ask to buy it if they do not have it on display....it was 6.95 each. I have spent so much on protein powders over the months since surgery and liquid Isopure that doing my coffee at home helps on the budget. I just love them sugar free syrups. Sandy in Tucson 90 lbs down....forever!!!!
