Can you eat this much???
Today at lunch, I had Taco Bell and ordered a Burrito Supreme with chicken. It has refried beans, some lettuce, tomato, sour cream and chicken. It isn't a huge burrito, but regular sized. Anyway, I ate about half of it. Could you have eaten that much? I ate the top half that isn't fully stuffed, but I kind of was expecting to eat more than half of it. I have been able to eat a lot more in the past and wondering if that's too much as it is? I can eat a 6oz yogurt in about 5-10 minutes and don't need to take itty bitty bites to get my food down. Anyway, just wondering if you think I am eating too much as it is or if you are able to eat a little more like I was a few weeks ago. Thanks!!

I question if I eat too much too. I still measure so that I don't over-eat. My doctor told me that some days I would be able to eat more than others. Today I haven't been able to each much but two days ago I ate about 1100 calories worth of food which is a lot for me.
I can eat a 6 ounce yogurt too, and it doesn't take me longer than 10 minutes. I don't know about the burrito because I try to stay away from the burrito itself, I just scrape out the insides if we go someplace where I am getting mexican, and eat the meat , beans and lettuce. I can eat more than I used to right after the surgery, but then I was only eating about 1/4 cup. Now I am eating between 1/2 cup and 2/3 cup, or about 2.5 to 3 ounces of chicken. My Dr. said by about a year or a little bit after, I should be able to eat 1 cup of food or close to!!
Hi Erica,
I still can't eat more than about 2 ounces of solid food at a time, otherwise, severe pain and sometimes it gets stuck.
Not much is agreeing with me.
As far as soft foods, like soup or yogurt, I have no problem eating up to four (yogurt) to six (soup) ounces in a 15 minute period.
Hope this helps,
Heather
