is there any place on this site?
Is there any place on this site that talks about caloric intake... I read through all my docs papers & found nothing past the first 6 weeks - have asked you guys the question - about how many calories we should eat - & have gotten a couple of different answers- since I don't have an appointment to see my for another month & am really really concerned - I was wondering if you guys knew of a site or a place on here that talks about what our daily intake should look like - I think I might be grazing - & I'm NOT loosing any pounds... been more than a few weeks...
Think I might be making VERY bad decisions -
Calories are avering between 1,000 - 1,200 per week
I also need to know info about how much calcium
B-12 & the right type of vitamin for maximum absorption -
feeling a littel tired lately & have achy muscles & bones -
A little concerned.

Pamela,
I was told that during the 1st year I would be consuming no more than 800 to 1000 calories a day. I have lost 102 lbs since Nov 1st and I'm still losing. For snacks I eat Jello sugar free/fat free instant pudding,
I omit pasta potatoes, rice and breads, I may take a spoon full of rice or potatoes with a meal but no more. I also eat about 6 melba toast rounds with tea. I eat mostly fish, chicken, and turkey and ground beef either in chilli or hamburger. (cheese burger).
When I want to stop losing weight, I will notice the number of calories I am consuming and increase them until I maintain my weight.
The nutritionist told me that 2 Viactive chewable calcium tablets, plus 1 Centrum chewable daily vitamin, and I take something called Trivita which is a sub-lingual (under the tongue) tablet that provides 1000 mcg Vitamin B-12, 400 mcg folate (as folic acid) and 5 mg of B-6 along with 25 mcg or biotin.
You don't have to use Trivita, I order through the mail and it is relatively expensive. You can get those quantities of vitamins in a health food store, or drug store. Hope this is helpful.
