A Soy Protein Drink
Hi All!
Just thought I'd share a drink as well... it's not a lot of protein, but it's better than no protein! It's called Snapple a Day. There are 3 flavors that are low enough in sugar so I won't dump (I'm allowed 16 grams or less- these have 7 grams of sugar). It has 7 grams of (soy) protein and 24 'essential' vitamins/minerals. Fiber is 7 grams and carbs are 16 grams= 9 grams of carbs. Very nice for a change! I have tried the Blueberry and it tastes very good and I feel I'm getting in protein and nutrients- Yeah!!
Re: Teresa's post on Isopure-- Out of all the protein drinks I've tried, Isopure was the only one I could somewhat tolerate.. it does taste good and I'm thinking of trying it again now that my stomach can tolerate more things, however I have found that the Whey proteins are the ones that make me gag.. and I could only handle a little Isopure due to this (which is more than any other whey protein drinks).
Anyone know of some good high-protein soy based products out there?

Jennifer - just a suggestion about the protein drinks because i too have a hard time with them. I use Isopure Creamy Vanilla. The instructions say that you should use two scoops which gives 50 grams of protein. I use only one scoop with 12 ounces of liquid (usually 8 ozs of low carb/skim milk and 4 ozs of low-fat/low carb chocolate milk). This combination gives me about 40 grams or so of protein in one drink and the rest I get from my food and makes it more tolerable!
Also, I have tried the Snapple A Day Strawberry/banana drink. It is really good.
