Does anyone here drink pop?
Well I am the other bad girl, because I drink Soda also. I usually drink diet, but sometimes I have a real full sugar one. I like the mini cans, just the right amount for me. I was also told that it can stretch your pouch out, but so far I haven't experienced that. Personally I think it's just a scare tactic.........But hey that's just my opinion. I have gone from 277 to 195 in 4 months which to me isn't too shabby, so I'm not complaining.
I am a bad girl too!! I drink a diet coke with lime and I have no problems. Now I don't drink it all the time, but it doesn't bother me at all!!! I was a diet coke fanatic before, and I did miss it!! So, I drink one, once in awhile and have had absolutely no problems. Down 81 bs here, and haven't noticed that I can eat any more!! In fact, I still only can eat about 2 ounces at a time of meat. Just my experience, but remember, we all are different!
Thank you everyone for your posts. I really appreciate the honest answers. I do love that this board you are open to be honest about everything.
I think for now I am going to stay away from it. I found a new Crystal Lite that I love..the ice tea....not peach..just regular! I just know that if I have even one pop, I'm done. I would drink atleast4 20 ounce bottles a day pre-surgery. And I know I could get up to that again. So I can hold out (well atleast I will try.hehehe)
Thanks again!

Ever since my surgery (11/08/04) nothing tastes right, not even water. I spent one night in an emergency room because of severe dehydration. My solution was to freeze diet pop, then shave the ice and eat it. This takes cares of the carbonation factor, gives a little flavor and it is cold so it tastes even better. This has been an important way for me to get my liquids down.
