This week I have been sooo bad. I have been tracking what I eat and haven't eaten more than 1000 calories a day but I have been making some really poor choices. Really poor. And I haven't been getting all my fluid in either. I don't know what is wrong with me. I mean I am training for a marathon so my exercise routine has been great and steady but this week - nada. I haven't done one darn thing this week and I am going to pay for it on Saturday when I am supposed to do my long run which is 10 miles this weekend. I don't know what is wrong with me. I was out of town last weekend and upon returning on Sunday I felt crappy and it has just continued from there. For a couple of days I didn't eat because i was sick and felt as if i couldn't put one more thing in my body and then since then I have eaten a lot of junk. I have eaten a lot of healthy stuff too, but I just haven't been making good choices this week. I know part of the problem is that I was pms-ing big time. Plus I haven't felt motivated. My weight loss is good - down to 175 from 223 which is about 48 lbs but i have just completely fallen off the wagon! I am so disapppointed in myself!

Every day is a new day. Don't wait until tomorrow to get back on track. Put that rubber band on your wrist and when you think about doing one more bad thing, give yourself a pop and DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT. Go take a walk, run, what ever just get out of the house and move....You have done wonderfully. If it is PMS then plan for next time only one treat and make it less than 100 calories. Just do it.

Cari - Time to pick yourself up and get going! Don't beat yourself up for the past week, just start new today. If you keep getting down on yourself it will just snowball, so....go for a run! Look what you've done so far - you're training for a marathon!!! OMG - I'm lucky to jog to the mailbox!! For future reference, for PMS emergencies I keep lots of SF popcycles around and grapes (they're sweet!). You're doing great! Keep it up. Next week you'll be telling us about your 5lb loss and your successful 10 mile run! xoxo Deb

Just jump back on. Next time you feel the need to fall remember how you feel right now. I just keep repeating - the lb or the calorie, the lb or the calorie - usually I prefer to lose the lb. I am also training for a 1/2 Marathon here in Boston in Oct and in Jan at Disneyworld. It is a wonderful feeling to know I can accomplish something that was way out of my league just 4 months ago.
