Work Issues?
Hey B!!
How are you? You know, it took a little while for me to get back into the swing of things but I'm doing pretty well now. I remember that not long ago you posted something about your labs being a little off. Maybe that has something to do with your dragging at work. Someone on another board mentioned that B12 can help with tiredness. Talk to your doctor and see what he/she has to say about it. Also, maybe a nutritionist can give you some advise on "pick me up" foods that might help.
Good luck and take care!!
Deb
I feel as if I'm slower in work. I don't have the energy I used to. I also fall asleep at my desk sometimes. This really scares me.
I have a Dr.'s appointment today as I also have insomnia which I think is part of the whole problem.
The good thing about my job is that I am allowed to telecommute up to a couple of days a week, This is a godsend because I then work at my own pace. If I need a nap I take one. I actually get more done this way. I just work longer.
I don't have the energy that I use to but I went to a support group meeting last night and they said that if you are not getting enough protein that could cause you to be tired. I take B-12 everyday and iron but I know that I am not getting enough protein so I am going to work on that. So if you are not getting enough protein you might want to try upping yours as well.
Hi all,
I was taking B12 every day but the shot is what helped me feel better. I take mine every week and then later every month. My PCP is wonderful, I don't need an appt to get my shot since the order is already in my chart. I am telling you it works for me. One week I missed my shot on purpose to see if it really makes a difference and I was falling asleep when I go home at lunch and then around 8:00 PM. I have also seen on some other sites that some surgeons recommend the weekly shot. Hope you feel better.
