Dizzy, lightheaded, etc
Just wondering if any of you get this way. When I work out especially or bend over and stand up quickly, I get very lightheaded and dizzy. I see stars and just feel pretty faint. I take all of my vitamins and get in plenty of water and protein, so wondering if this is normal? I am going to call my doctor, but just wondering if any of you guys are going through this too. I have been pretty tired lately too, like taking naps in the afternoons, something I have never done...even after having a newborn!! I just get real tired after doing little work. I know my period should be coming in the next week or two, but this is the first month I have felt this way. Oh, what about potassium? I have seen a lot of mention of it, but not sure what we should be doing to get it in. Anyway, sorry to ramble but hoping you guys can help let me know if this is happening to you as well Thanks!!

Hey Erica,
I haven't had this happen but I wonder if you're getting enough iron. Maybe being anemic would cause this? The other thing is that maybe you need to increase your calories just a little bit. I think it's a good idea that you're going to check in with your doc. I'm sure that they've dealt with this before and can give you the best advise.
Good luck!!

I DID feel dizzy the last 2 nights when I laid down in bed, but I have also had sinus junk so I am pretty sure its attributed to that. I am very careful with that because I used to faint quite frequently when I was younger, so if I feel dizzy I either sit or lay down immediately....lol!! I sure hope you feel better!! Let me know what your Dr. says!!!

Well, I went to the doctor today. Regular PCP, not the surgeon. He thinks it is a B12 deficency, but did a whole bunch of test. 6 tubes of blood worth!! LOL He said the subliguals may not work well for me and my body is just running out of its natural reserve, which is why I am just starting to feel this way now. I also have a skin yeast infection and also thrush, which for some reason happens to post ops? Weird I think, but guess there must be a reason for it. I was put on heavy duty liquid antibiotics a couple months ago, so that might be why. I also stretched the tendons in my feet, which means I have to reduce working out big time. It hurts really bad just walking up and down the stairs, so I think I will be sticking with more of an upper body routine for a bit until the tendons heal. I jogged on the treadmill a couple times last week for the first time, which is probably what caused them to stretch. Guess I am broken all over, huh? LOL I will let you know what happens with the bloodwork. The tech said I should know something either Monday or Tuesday. Thanks for your concern and input guys
