3-month checkup

Hello everyone, Just got back from my three-month followup. Since the day of surgery I've lost....65 pounds. Not bad, but not as good as some others. I think I'm going to include the 20 or so I lost before the surgery, if only to make myself feel better! My surgeon said folks lose, on average, 40 to 60 pounds in the first three months, so I'm "above average" (his words). I still wish I could stop comparing myself to others. I have to go back in one month, for an ulcer/stricture followup. I'd sure like to lose 15 pounds. I really want to be in the 240s. Have a sweet night! Heather 328/263/150

You are doing fantastic. We all at one time or another compare ourselves, but we shouldn't. Celebrate your journey you are quite a loser!!
