My little WOW (Oh No!) moment!
OK guys this gets a little ridiculous but true story.... sorry I haven't been posting much... no time at work..... computer mother board fried at home... had to get a whole new computer rebuilt - but that's a whole 'nother story!
OK... here's the story. I getting ready to go upstairs for the night.... loading up with my iced tea, my protein snack... and milk and something for the kid. NOw bear in mind I have bought no real clothes since surgery. As I put my foot up the stairs I note that my pajamas are way looser than normal. As I continue up I step on the pajama bottoms and lo and behold..... the whole thing starts to work its way down --- hands are full.... can't even bend down and pick them up without spilling the milk etc...... long and short of it all I gota keep going .... by the time I get to the top of the stairs..... NO PANTS...... walked right out of them.... somewhere on stair 8..... WOW
Guess it is time to visit the exchange closet or go shopping!!!
Hi Sphinxy,
I never thought dropping your drawers could be so funny!
See, just when you think you're on a plateau or not losing as fast as someone else, something like that comes along to remind you that you are indeed an amazing shrinking woman!
I have my 3-month folo up tomorrow (Tuesday) and I'm anxious to see how much I've lost. I think you and I started out about the same (I'm 5-foot-8, day of surgery weighed 328), and it looks like (according to your profile) we're down about the same, somewhere between 55 and 65. Of course, I have my period, so it won't be entirely accurate, but close enough.
I hope your lupus is easing up for you.
And by the way, you have a gorgeous smile.
Have a great night, and keep up the great work!
Heather
Congratulations on the weight loss!!!!
Thanks for the support!!!
Yes, please do your very best to quit that smoking. I had one of my best friends in the world ... the day after my surgery was admitted to the hospital for a double bypass surgery!!! (major implications..... weight and smoking!!!!). You have made a huge step in reducing the risk with the surgery... let's not let it go to waste!!!!! I am sure there are many people that want to keep you on this earth a little longer!!!! Hang in there! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
B
been there done that! I have had that happen going into the front door of my house! Thank the good Lord that it was at night and my neighbors couldnt see. I carve a new hole in my belt about once a week now to keep that from happening! I must say I would rather that happen then bend over and split the seat of my pants because my tail has gotten bigger....which by the way has left me. I swear all the weight I have lost has come from my backside. Looks like a family of four has moved out of the seat of my pants!
LOL Sphinxy!!! Isn't that such a great feeling though!!! I was going to go to water aerobics, and wear my old suit!!! Well, good thing I tried it out first before going, because it kept falling down off my arms, and the whole pool would have had an eye full!!! I haven't wanted to go shopping at all but I know I need too!! All my clothes are baggy, but I am sure not complaining!!!
You are doing great!! Just think what we will look like come summer!!!!
