kidney stones

Can anyone tell me, are you prone to getting kidney stones after surgery, I never had a kidney stone untill after I had this surgery.

Denise- I was prone to kidney stones prior to surgery. I try to drink as much water as possible. I also try to drink cranberry juice but have not yet since surgery. SO far nothing but then again I would go a few years in between episodes. Janet

I also heard if you are taking calcium carbonate your odds of getting them are higher. You should take calcium CITRATE. Donna
