Hi Joann I had my surgery on the 14th, and am down 65 pounds since surgery and 89 from my highest. I have done pretty well so far with not getting sick, only once from airline food. I do suffer a lot with nausea, just don't throw up. I am having to fight raising my calories, this week I am making a concerted effort to do this and my weight has picked back up. I also started working out this week, that sorta made me have to up the calories too. My surgeon doesn't want us snacking in between meals, but I would not even come close to enough calories if I didn't. Most days I average 600 but I have been able to reach 800 several times this week. Anyhow thanks for posting, love to hear how others are doing that had surgery around the same time. Take care KatherineL

We have the same surgery date and I have also lost 41 lbs......well 41.5 since surgery. I have lost none in the last two weeks. What's up with that. It scared me to stop losing. I had also considered myself a slow loser but maybe we are on target....I really don't know. You are doing very well . Hugs, Sandyd

I am very happy!!!! 75 lbs down. I never thought the weight loss could happen so fast with me. I was 340 the day of surgery now now 265. What a miracle this surgery is. I am going for a 6 month personal goal of 100 lbs. Sandy in Tucson.....Dr. Fang, St. Lukes Medical, Phx, Az----open---revision---rny
