Saggy GUT

Hi everybody, I am apalled at the look of my body. I have the saggiest belly. What used to stick out has deflated and gone south, and I can see the saggy areas of the skin that will be worse with more weight loss. I wish the tire around my gut would go away. Anyone else have a similar pattern of weight loss? I know I should feel thinner, but it is difficult when it looks deformed! Lori 331/259/150

I hear ya!!! I am sooo thrilled that my boobs now stick out farther than my stomach, but the look of the stomach is not a pretty sight! I'm sure it will get better with time, but unfortunately the skin will be the next problem to have to deal with!!! I haven't worn a bikini since I was 18, and I don't think I need to rush into one now!!! I'm just glad with blue jeans!!! You are doing awesome with the loss - keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lori, I hear ya girl! The sane thing is happening to me. Most of weight has always gone to my gut and now a gut and stomach that used to make me look pregnant is just starting to sag really bad and look a little funny. I am finding myself becoming very insecure over it. I will, for sure, be getting a tummy tuck when I am finished having all the children I hope to have.

Yep, me too. I don't see myself in a bikini this summer. There's the scar too. My boobs look like a couple of fried eggs sitting on my chest. I don't need underwires, I need a shelf! And I KNOW that I would be at least a size or two smaller already if it weren't for that saggy belly! I keep telling myself that when I get close to goal I can have everything tightened and lifted and have the boobs of a 20 year old! But seriously, it does affect the way you see yourself. I'm down 60 and sometimes, especially when I'm looking at the torso area it doesn't seem as if I've lost any! It'll all work out. As we know, nothing comes easy. Take care, Carey 243/183/130

I am right there with ya! I carried the bulk of my weight in my belly and breasts and now it seems as though they hang all the way to my knees!! I guess the 3 c-sections didnt help my belly, but I didnt have c-sections in my breasts, lol. I had figured all along that I would have to have my breasts done because they have always been too large. I wanted to have them reduced when I was young and thin but I wanted to wait so I could be sure to breast feed. Well I dont need to be doing that anymore so as soon as I can I am going to try to get approved for that - I have had back trouble all along anyway, so I have documents for that. I might have some trouble with getting the tummy tuck approved but I am gonna give it a go when the time is right. God bless you and keep you, ~Andrea

Hey Lori, Were you in the changing room with me at Avenue over the weekend?!!! Seriously, I tried on pants and was so disgusted with how huge my lower stomach still is. I tried on two pair of pants, each a size 22. One was too tight, the other was ginormous. I ended up getting ponte knit (plenty 'o give) in an 18/20, and although they're snug, they're more forgiving. I just always wear looooong shirts, past my butt (and I'm tall, so it's not always easy). In fact, I haven't bought any new shirts, just pants. I too had a c-section and I believe I have a huge hernia there (I'm going to ask my surgeon next week when I go in for my three-month folo). So if I can get my ins co to pay for a TT, I will...Next year, though; no more surgery for me for awhile, if I can help it. Best, Heather
