Hi All, Just wanted to know what your weight loss pattern is? I for one only lose weight one week out of the month and the rest of the month I am jus****ching the scale not move. I have always been this way though so I am use to it. Just wondering how it is for everyone else. Teresa

I do the same thing. Just as I start to get really discouraged, I lose 5 lbs. Kriglet

same here, boy isn't it frustrating!!! My weight loss usually happens right around the same time as my period. But as long as i'm losing, i'm happy Tina

You are not alone. I am the same way. I thought at first it was my thyroid medicine, but got that checked and all is well. I was anemic, so I need B-12 shots weekly now (ouch), but no biggie. I lose 1-2 pounds the week after my menses then MAYBE 1 pound a week. Oh well as long as we are minusing out at each month annniv. we are ok.....

Sandra, What kind of diet do you have? Do you follow a certain diet and do you ever cheat? My suergery was 11/04 and I,m stuck at 40lb weight loss the scale has not moved in a month My diet does consist of some things I should,nt eat including junk food. I do exercise some but I,m a nurse and work long shifts and becoming very frustrated. Thanks for listening. Sherry

I had surgery 11/19/04 and have lost 53 lb so far, but have noticed this same pattern, so hearing that it's common is reassuring. I was at 260 for a couple of weeks and then all of a sudden it went to 250. It must be the body's way of adjusting. Jan
