I am overweight!!

ROTFLOL, I never thought I would be so happy to be considered overweight but hey, I am not obese anymore!! WOO HOO Yay for me. My high weight this past summer at my doctor's office was 223. When I had surgery I was down to 215. I am now 163 and I am no longer obese but officially overweight!!! 27 more lbs to go until I am in the normal range and 33 more lbs to go until I am at goal!! I can't believe it!! Prior to considering surgery I never thought I would see this weight. Once I decided to have the surgery I figured it would still take many months to get where I am now. Instead, here I am only 3 months out!! I cant believe it! I am thrilled, especially considering I am feeling great, have never dumped and can eat pretty much everything the doctor has allowed me to try (meats, veggies, salads, fruit). There isnt anyone in my close personal life who truly understands how I am feeling (either they were never overweight and dont understand the struggle, or they are still where they were before and although happy for me, still stuck where they were) but I know people here understand. :D God bless you and keep you, ~Andrea 223/163/130

Andrea I just want to say congrats to you!!! I know how you feel. We are both what they call "lightweights". My post op weight was 218 I am losing slower then you you but still losing. And It's a wonderful thing. Enjoy the new you and keep up the good work. Yesturday I bought a size 14 Levi jeans and they weren't stretch demin. I have been wearing stretch demin forever - milestone like this are awesome. Keep that beautiful smile going and be proud! Colleen
