3 MONTH CHECK-UP
Hi everyone, I went in today for my three month check-up. I was a little early, still have a week left til three months. Anyhow I am officially down 55 pounds since surgery(like my scale better it says 59) and 80 all total. I talked to the doctor, and was pleased that he feels I will probably reach my goal of 150-160 pounds. Things have gone so well with this surgery. I keep thinking something is going to go wrong, but so far it has been all good. Would love to hear from others on how your journey is going. Take care KatherineL

I have mine tomorrow. I was hoping to lose another lb or two before the appt and got my wish, I have a stomach flu today and feel terrible Oh well, at least I am now eating! I like my scale way better at home too, it weighs me almost 5lbs lighter, course I am next to naked too I will post my update tomorrow, but sounds like you are doing great!

Hello Katherine,
Just waving hello from another November surgery sister in Santa Rosa!
I had my surgery in San Francsico by Dr. Jossart who was guest speaker at the Santa Rosa support group last Saturday. I have my 3 month visit with him this Friday.
My group of surgeons have a Petaluma support group which is next Saturday.
Just happy to see another neighbor here. I went to a California Board get-together all the way in Vallejo and met someone who lived around the corner from me.
Glad you're doing so well.
Jo
Hi Jo Ellen I was there saturday! I really enjoyed Dr. Jossart's presentation, I told my husband that I wished I had gotten to see that before I had my surgery. Anyhow we'll have to meet at the next meeting. Your face kinda looks familiar, but if your like me even my friends don't recognise me now. Anyhow congratulations on your surgery. How are you doing with it. I told my doc (Elliott) that I feel like a poster child for gastric bypass, everything that could go right...has. I have only thrown up once since leaving the hospital, so I feel really blessed where this is concerned, and am down 60 pounds now. Anyhow would love to hear how you are doing.
