regular doctor visits?

I'm just wondering how often people see their doctors. I saw mine at 10 days post-op to have the staples removed and then again at 3 months out. Now my next appt is not for another 6 months! I'm doing well and have no problems and I see the dietician every 6 weeks now but.......I don't know......it just doesn't sound right. Carey

Hi Carey I saw my doctor at 1 week 1 month and will be having my 3 mo visit on tuesday. Then I don't see him until 6 mos and then at a year. I know I have heard that after 3 mos your chances of complications goes down dramaticaly. It sounds like your doc is pretty average in amount of times he sees you. Hope this helps. Hi Carey, My visits with my surgeon have gone like this: 2 weeks, 6 weeks, and 12 weeks. My next scheduled appointment is in another 12 weeks - on April 27. I am sure that if you were having any issues or felt uncomfortable about something you could see your surgeon in between now and 6 months, plus you are seeing the dietician so I dont think it is a bad situation.
