Am I on track with weight loss?
Here I am at 74 days post-op and just got home from the Dr's office.
I have lost another 14.6lbs, which brings my total to 60.6lbs since surgery.
I also took my measurements yesterday, the 1st time since pre-surgery and have lost an amazing 32 3/8"! (I think it's all from my hiney..lol, gosh I need some padding on my tailbone... ouch)
God Bless,
Vickie

Hi there Vickie!
I'm a REALLY SLOW loser compared to all of you...(I should have posted YOUR post!) !!
I had open RNY Nov 2nd at 207.5 and am down to 178 3 mo. postop now. That's a loss of only 29 pounds...BUT I'm off all my diabetes medication (after 15 years!) and finally losing EVEN IF ITS SLOW, and trying to stay patient and do my thing (exercising, eating right)...also, there is a formula somewhere for weight, body fat loss....and it's different for everyone but basically we lose at that same rate even though for some people it's more actual weight, the percentages are the same.
It gets hard sometimes, I'm easily discouraged, but I tell myself it's been OVER 14 YEARS since I've been at this point! Give myself a little pat on the back for courage and go to the boards, or "mynats" and just keep going on!
Sincerely, Julie
