1/2 way to GOAL!!!

Hi November babies! I recently realized that I'm at half way to GOAL I have lost 50 lbs and want to lose another 50 lbs. Things are looking up!! Everyone on NOV board has been doing so well!!!! LET'S GIVE OUR SELVES A HAND I met 2 people from NOV board in person yesterday!! Hi Jo Ellen and Oh Donna! We had a OH breakfast 20 people attended. Afterwards we went SHOPPING of course!! Hi, Summer: Had to write, because I too, have lost about 50 lbs, and an 1/2 to my goal, also! Even more fun: today's my 50th birthday, and it's been a real trip to think that I'll live the balance of my life out at something like a normal weight. Congrats to both of us, Girlfriend! - Karen

Summer .. 1/2 way pretty cool. I never looked at it that way. I'm not quite 1/2 but almost there. I love that some of our OH friends get to meet each other. That is just so cool. I met a lot of my surgeon's patients at a reunion party my dr threw. It was pretty great getting to see these people and hear of their personal journeys in person. And Karen.. Angel, It is amazing to meet other's who are at different stages in their WLS journey. Everyone brings little photo albums with before and after pics!! Now people from different areas of Calif are coming further to meet each other. In March I am attending a 1 day OH seminar nearby. Have you considered attending any of the OH events/conventions? Dec 2005 there is a National OH convention in Irvine (1/2 hr from Disneyland)! Keep up the great work!! Summer
