I really got to be eating too much
I've lost only 46 pounds since Nov 11 - NOTHING in the past two weeks - Here's what I ate today - I'm SURE it's just too much!
B - Protein drink w 1/2 banana & carb count choc drink
S - 1/2 of an Advant Edge Rocky road crunch bar - I LOVE these!
L - Lean Cuisine portobella mushroom beef w garlic mashed
S - Odwalla Super Protein drink - been sipping on it for the past hour
Yesterday I had a Marie's quiche (about 2" in diameter) between two meals, dinner Beef Jerky & carb count chocolate...
Does this just sound like way too much? I mane is 46 pounds good - I read below that one of you lost over 60 already KUDOS!!!! How the heck did you do that & why won't my friggin scale move?!!!!!
I've been having a slimming or detox tea every evening to keep the bowels moving - I'm sure you girls & guys have experienced that the bowles seem to produce a lot slower now days.... Sorry - But I used to be a very high fiber girl & quite frankly - I'm not completely comfortable with that part of my new health status - Much concern about colon & diverticulitis issues....
Anyways - You guys are in the same space of healing as I am - so... your experiences are even more important to me than those wonderful folks on the main board that have successfully lost & are way beyond month two -
Pardon my ramblings & thanks!
Pam,
You are doing awesome!!! Were you a Dr. Coates patient he has a weight loss calculator based on your start weight and BMI. People who have higher BMI's lose much more and faster. You are considered a light weight so I am so we lose slower than others...but we'll lose it! We way less to lose! Even my Doc will say for my weight/bmi category I'm right on target! Don't compare yourself to others. We all get to the finish line just at different times! I'm a scale junkie too!!!! As far as your other issues I had my first problem with that. I now take 2 Colace (stool softner) a day!!!
DON'T WORRY!!!
Maybe we'll meet in Modesto some day! We have OH gathering here all the time. Are you nearby?

I think we worry whether we're losing it too fast or too slow. lol I had my surgery on the 10th of November. I have lost 60 pounds, but who's to say that in a couple of weeks you won't shoot past me and I'll be worrying about the loss slowing down. I think that as long as we are going down and not up, we're doing fine. That didn't sound like too much food to me. Are you exercising? As far as the bm info is concerned, I probably go once a week now. Except for today - 4 times!!! So I think our bodies know what to do and when to do it. We just have to not get stressed about when it decides to. You've lost about 4 pounds a week right? I've lost about 5 pounds a week. When you figure it like that you're right on target. Good luck.

Hi Pam,
I had my surgery on Nov.10th. I lost 41 lbs so far. I agree w/ everyone else. It all depends on where you started. The more you have to lose the quicker it seems to come off. You're ahead of me.. so that's something.LOL
You are doing great. Keep up the good work!
