Menus for Tuesday 1/25 or the day before
I will post mine this evening! Today isn't going to be a good eating day for me I don't think.....I won't get in enough protein I think because my daughter has epilepsy and is having a bad day today!! She has went 3 monthes without seizures, and bam, today, she had several this morning!! I will post later what I eat though!!
Yesterday
Breakfast - protein shake in light OJ
Lunch - 3/4 of a turkey brat on the grill, no bun
PM snack - protein drink in crystal light
Supper - slice of meatloaf and 2 bites of garlic potatoes
I drink water and crystal light off and on all day.
Today:
Breakfast - slice of leftover meatloaf
AM snack - protein drink in crystal light
Lunch - chicken, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, and sundried tomatoes in
alfredo sauce, no pasta
PM snack - I will have another protein drink
Supper - 3 oz chicken breast on the grill (I think!?!)
My son (he's 9) has a seizure disorder due to shaken baby syndrome. He's on Trileptal. He was doing fine until just a few weeks ago he had one in church. (His are absence seizures, not the big ones) Anyway, we went to the Neurologist and he ordered an MRI. We're waiting to hear the results. They upped his meds and he seems to be doing better. All this to say, I can relate. Try and take care of yourself, too. You need to be happy and healthy to help her the best you can. Try and get your protein. Do you drink shakes? That's how I get mine. Hang in there...I'll be praying for you and your daughter.

Thanks Katy!! My daughter has frontal lobe epilepsy. She didn't start having seizures until she was 9. She is 10 now. She is also on Trileptal and also Lamictal. She has slept most of the day today and this evening now. I think she is pretty much out of her clusters now, Thank God!! Days like this are hard, and the whole first half of the day, between her and my 3 yr old son, I was majorly stressed!! I really appreciate your prayers!! I did end up eating today though!!! Here is what I had!!
Breakfast/Lunch~ a little under 1/2 cup chili topped with cheese
Snack~ 2 triscuits topped with cream cheese
8 ounce glass of hot chocolate made with ff milk
Supper~ 1 egg scrambled with onion, a little mushroom, and shredded cheese.
I am planning on getting in either a yogurt or another glass of milk!!
This is better than what I planned, but I really tried to make an effort!!!
yesterday breakfast 1 egg and cheese omelet lunch 1/2 cup healty quest tomato soup with 2 wheat saltine crackers dinner 3/4 cup wheat spaghetti with meat sauce. threw the day i have 2 carnation instant breakfast drinks with 10 oz skim milk,and drink crystal light or ice tea w/splenda also all my vitamins and minerals no snacking all ways full.
Breakfast: 3 spoons of oatmeal that my dr's office gave me. It was gross so I threw it out.
3 spoons of tuna salad
3 spoons of Wendy's chili. First i've ever had it. I didn't like it.
Snack: 8 oz glass of peach flavor protein drink. Yucky but I forced to myself to fini**** (got from DR. too) 15gms protein
Lunch: 16 oz of water
Dinner: 2 egg white omelet w/ onions, 1 slice of canadian bacon and 1 slice of cheese
Snack: protein shake 24 grms of protein.
And Teresa, So sorry to hear about your daughter. I'll keep her and you in my prayers. Hope tomorrow is better !

AM: Decaf coffee w/protein powder
BRK: 1 string cheese 8 oz Carb Countdown Choc MIlk
LUN: groundbeef w/ cheese lettuce sauce (inside of soft taco)
SNK: Q-Smart bar
DNR: Grilled chicken, baby greens
Water: 50 oz so far
Vitamins: all
Exercise : hit the gym earlier
