Am I A Slow Loser?

Do you guys think I am a slow loser? I have lost about 30 pounds. I get in about 60-100 grams of protein per day. I usually drink between 50 and 90 ounces of water/liquid per day. Of course, I also consume my supplements -- 2 multiple vitamins; 1000 calcium; 40 grams of pepcid; and B-12 sublingual. My calories are usually 500-700 per day. I exercise at the YMCA 3 or 4 days per week and my Dh and I occasionally walk in the neighborhood. What is your weight loss so far? Is there anything can I do to speed up this weight loss?

Hi Judy Everybody is different and we all lose at a different pace. It also depends on your starting weight and how much you need to lose. I was told not to compare, it will drive ya nuts . I eat on an average of 750-950 calories a day, 50-90g protein, all my vitamins/meds, no sugar, about 50-70 oz liquid and I to a 40 min cardio workout 5-6 times a week. I am down -53 lbs since surgery which was on 11/24/04. You are doing great, think about the last time you lost 30 lbs in 2 months right? Keep up the good work! Susan LAP RNY 11/24/04 374/321/190

Hi Judy, First I would like to say, congrats on your weight loss thus far. From what I understand, everyones weight loss progress differs. I have been questioning the same thing about myself. I do not see any weight loss myself, however; people have been saying I look a lot different. I have convinced myself to weigh in only once a month, silly I know but I hate scales always have. I go to the gym 5 days a week, swimming twice a week, and have only managed to loose 59 pounds to date. I would also like to know, if there is something that I can do to speed up weight loss. If you receive information, I would appreciate it if you could pass it along. Good luck in your journy :waves: ~Ty~
