Pizza Pizza
I tried Pizza and it did not go well. The first bite was with bread and it felt like it was stuck. (I dont eat any bread) The second bite I took the toppings off. I had bite of Meat Lovers, Veggies Lovers, Supreme. All of them felt heavy in my stomache and did not even taste well. I won't be trying it again but glad I did have the chance to try a selection so I could see that I don't want it anymore!!!
How funny! I made a pizza last night and ate it!
Here's my recipe, ingredients all from Trader Joes
Low carb, whole wheat pizza crust (like boboli except it has 5 grams of protein for an 1/8 of the pie shell)
Yougurt / Chive sauce (about 2/3 container)
Chicken Sausage: Spinach, Fontana, Garlic: Sauteed, then diced (about 1 2/3-3/4 links: 30 grams of protein)
Red Bell Pepper; diced (a small pepper)
Mushrooms; sliced ( a handful worth)
Mozzarrella cheese: almost an entire bag (about 20 grams of protein).
I made this for my family who ate it like pizza, but I ate the remainder of link (not placed on pizza), then cut a slice of pizza and ate toppings first, then I was able to take about two baby bites of the crust.
It was very good!
