pregnancy?

My girlfriend had wls last month (mine was 11/16/04). She is pregnant! Anyone else find themselves here? I'm not sure what to tell her. She's so excited and I'm terribly worried for her. Her doc said to go to OBGYN asap! Any good results from this?

Oh my gosh, she needs to call and tell her ob/gyn as fast as she can! This is serious! It is EXTREMELY dangerous to your friend! It is told to everyone that they MUST NOT get pregnant for 18 months to 2 years after surgery! She should have been well informed of this and taken ultimate precautions! I hope if your friend doesn't understand this entirely, you make every effort to help her understand. I suggest you also do some internet searches about this matter and give it to her too, but PLEASE urge her to get to the ob/gyn like yesterday!
