2 Month Post Op Pics
Hey everyone,
It is that time again and here is the link to my 2 month post op pics. Once again I still do not see any difference and I have made it my vow not to get on the scale but once every 2 weeks because I am trying to get to under 300 to no avail. Well hope you enjoy:

Hi Toya. Sounds like you are doing good. Two things I read in your profile I might be able to give you a little help on. First you were saying you are having a hard time with protein drinks...I can't stand them either. I found that I can drink 8oz of skim milk plus with some sweet n low chocolate syrup and it gives you 12 g of protein and actually taste like chocolate milk. The other is you are saying you wanted to get into Uconn. Did you know that if you take classes at any of the community colleges in CT Uconn has to take you as a transfere student. So if you don't get in there for the first year take some classes at your local community college and then transfere in. The prereques the are needed for freshman year and sophmore are at the cc and most credits transfere. Hope some of this helps you out.

Thanks, Heidi
I will try your suggestion regarding the sweet n low. I have some at home that I bought over a moth ago and I first tried it and hated it but that is because I had it with regular milk I will try your way. Ohh the other thing, I already have my bachelor's degree. I meant Uconn as in it's law school. I received my degree from college in Buffalo, NY. But thanks for suggestion. Are you going to bowling party?

Those are great picts to save for your journey. I looked closely and I can tell a difference. your face, neck and legs are thinner for sure. It is hard to tell about the rest of you brcause of the loose shirt but I am sure you have lost all over. I am so excited for you!!!
I have a friend taking my picture tomorrow so I will put it on my profile as soon as I can.
I am very impressed that you are doing so well only weighing every 2 weeks. I am really bad and get on it daily and it is not a smart move on my part. I am working on weaning myself off the scale ......wish me luck lol.
Have a great week!!!

Toya, I just looked at your photos and I can absolutely tell a difference! I know that most of us don't see ourselves the way that others do. I went clothes shopping today, and several times I held something up and thought, "There's NO way I could fit into this." But, I decided to try the things on to see how much I'd need to lose before the fit. Well, they fit! It is hard for me to realize that I really have lost a lot of weight. I'm trying to get my brain to wrap around that. Maybe your brain just needs a bit more time to catch up with the changes that are going on with your body. Also, I know that I, and others here, have noticed subtle changes like losing weight in hands, feet, etc. Can you tell a difference in your clothing? Hang in, and try not to get discouraged by the scale. (I'm weighing only once a month.)
Hugs!

Toya.. You look great and I looked at your profile it looks so pretty. I loved it.
I wish I could be good about the scale like the rest of you. I'm addicted to it. I weigh myself every morning. My husband says i'm making him crazy because i'm so obsessed with weighing myself.
But another idea for you Toya is to measure yourself..sometimes you lose inches without losing lbs. And even though I think there is no difference when I look at myself in the mirror I know it's working because of the way my clothes fit.
