Hi, This is my routine(I watch sugar as I am a diabetic) 530am Carb Countdown Choc. Milk with scoop of Protein 8am 6oz Low Sugar Low Fat Yogart 12 noon Michealinas Lean Gourment Tv Dinner (Chicken and Green Veggies) This is LOW FAT, LOW SUGAR and maybe 200 calories at most. 4pm 1 oz Peanuts or 4 baby carrots in tablespoon of Fat Free dressing 7pm Dinner-Protein/Veggie (Chicken, Shrimp, Lentils, Tuna Fish, Chicken Salad with Green Beans Brocholli or Butter Beans (small amouts of rice) Sometimes snack---1/2 bananna with Peanut Butter on top, Popcorn made with Smart Choice Oil. I eat NO bread as it gets stuck and hurts going down. I have lost 50 pounds in 10 weeks. I drink water, and caffeine free diet coke inbetween meals. My husband is from India and I eat various dishes with spices and found none that upset me yet it helps give me lots of taste. IF my chicken is dry, it will come back up. I have found the LOW sugar BBQ sauce is great to help this. The only raw veggie I eat is carrots and celery so far and red meat is limted to goat meat on special occasions. I also limited potatoes to times where that is the best choice(if out traveling Wendys has bake potatoes with cheese and brocholi)

Thank-you for more great replies. It's wonderful to be able to have all of you nice folks to learn from and to bounce ideas & questions off of. I hadn't thought of keeping some low-carb, low-cal frozen meals on hand. I'll be looking for some the next time I shop. Donna P RNY 11/17/04

I am exactly the same post op as you...I haven't been hungry. I barely eat..I have to remember to eat, and it is usually just once a day. I know that isn't good for me, but right now I am mostly craving pinapple juice and drink a lot of that. I have lost 43 lbs since 11/17/04.

I am 7 weeks out and it seems like I can eat quite a bit, but my weight loss is good I am down 45 pounds so far. Here is what I had today: decaf coffee water B 1/2 strive protien bar water protien shake made w 4oz skim and 1 scoop juice plus L 4 oz lean beef pot roast water D 4 oz home made chili and 1 bite of corn bread crystal lite 4 oz cottage cheese more water often I have a shake for breakfast, string cheese with some lunch meat wrapped around it for lunch and lowfat refried beans with low fat cheese melted on top for dinner. 1 can eat about 1/4 chicken breast at a time, 1/4 of a hamburger patty, 2 oz of steak, 2 oz of pork. 3 oz of fi**** really depends on how dense the food is. The Strive protien bars stay with me for a long time. I can eat half of one for breakfast and not be hungry for 4 hours.

Thank you! More great examples. You all are giving me some ideas of new things I will try. I LOVE soup, and had some clam chowder today. The warmth from the soup was very filling. Not to mention comforting when it is only 46 degrees outside. LOL!
