Hi there, Every day there are tons of posts on this board saying exactly the same thing. First of all, 32 pounds in eight weeks is not small. IT'S FABULOUS!!! When's the last time you lost that amount of weight? And this time its gone for good. A couple of suggestions... 1.) Get moving...exercise will help jump-start your metabolism. 2.) At 8 weeks you should be eating healthier than just protein bars. A lots of them have all kinds of junk in them that can stall your weight loss: carbs, trans fats, sugar, etc. Try eating healthier...many suggestions around. I eat sliced turkey lunch meats, shrimp, low carb lean cuisines, turkey chili, carb control yoghurt, many other things. I try and keep it high-protein, low carb, low fat and between 6-800 cals a day. This is what my doctor recommends. Believe me, if you keep to that and drink your fluids you will lose. Stay off the scale...it will make you nuts. Good luck..if you need more food suggestions, e-mail. Jo

I know how you feel!! I sat at 37 pounds for 2 1/2 weeks, but now have lost another 9 1/2 pounds. So, it will come off. I think our bodies just need time to catch up with the big adjustments!! If you read Pouch Rules for Dummies you can get some good information! It helped me a lot!!! Just put it in on your search engine and you can just print it off from there (about 7 pages)! I think you are doing great!! Keep up the good work and the pounds will start to fall off again!!!! Amanda

Hi I had RNY 11-15-2004 after 6 weeks I lost 33lbs for the past two weeks have only lost 5. I went from size 24 to 16. I guess our body has to re-adjust after so many pounds. I went to Bariatriceating.com and got some get protein bars. I am just doing the same thing I am sure we have no other choise but to lose.
