Looking for LapBanders with 10cc+

Hey there everyone! I was banded on 11/15/04 and I have one of the new, larger bands at almost 11 (I think!) CCs. Does anyone else have this size????? I guess I'm looking for anyone with anything larger than a 4 cc to compare notes, etc with! AnnMarie

Hi Ann Marie I was banded on Nov 30, 2004 and had my first fill on Jan 7. My Dr said I had a 10cc band......What kind of questions do you have? Maybe we can help each other! Donna

Ok, I guess I have a Vanguard band...so its bigger than 10 cc---and I now have about 5 ccs in it. Its still not enough. I can't eat what I used to be able to but can eat what a normal person can. My last fill was 1/7 and I still have internal swelling around the port----anyone have this? Its feels like my port has expanded 2-3 times bigger than it is..... am

Hi Ann Marie i have a question for you . I'm being banded on jan 25th what is the difference between 4cc and 10cc banding? I don't know much even though i'm having it done soon. One year of learning the gastric bypass and then had to change. I have not much knowledge. thanks Nancy
