GREAT JOB!!!! That is wonderful!!! I am tired alot too, but have noticed that the more I exercise, the more energy I seem to have. On those days where I have arthiritis because of the rain or snow, I always feel more tired because my knee hurts too bad to exercise. I have trouble drinking my water too, but I have started also drinking diet snapple...the iced tea with lemon, and its great!! I don't know if that counts, but I have been able to drink more liquids since drinking it. Good luck and you are doing great!!

Hello, Elizabeth, my name is Larry Howell and your doing great! I'm 9 weeks Post OP and I to am having a hard time getting all my water in everyday as well. However, I do find it easier when I have a 20 oz bottle at my desk and at home and I carry one every where I go. My goal is to drink 4 glasses by noon each day and the other 4 glasses by 6 pm. That normally gives me 3 -4 hour to make up any I've missed because of my busy schedule. My water is a constant thought but it works. I'm walking 2.25 miles 4 times a week but the more I put into it the better my energy leavel seems to get. Also make sure you balance out your protine and carbs. Some days I just can't seem to get the balance and all that protine is great but it does not give me any energy like carbs do. So hang in there girl and let me know how you're doing. God Bless!

I agree tha****er is hard. This is what I try to do. Wake up: -drink 12oz of water Breakfast -drink 16oz (one bottle or sometimes I drink just under)after my hour wait and before lunch Lunch -dring another 12 oz after 1 hour wait Snack -drink another 12 oz before dinner (more than 30 minutes before) Dinner -drink another 16oz bottle after wait Snack -if I think I am hungry I have a little snack -I don't always wait one hour (I know bad) after my snack since it is getting closer to bedtime and I don't need the "fullness" as much but I usually wait at least 30 minutes and then I drink one last 16oz water. If I drink all my water that day, I get in about 90 oz. I don't always drink the last one as water and sometimes drink Isopure (like Koolaid) to boost my protein because it isn't always great. I also often get Wal-Mar****er which is 20 oz and then you just need to drink over 3 to be done. Hope this helps. Roni 240/189/140

Congrats on the 50 pounds lost!! That's awesome! I don't do too well with water. I do much better with tea, so I drink decaf iced tea with splenda. I know it's not the best, but at least I'm getting more in that way! I am also quite tired, I'm still working on getting over that one myself!!

Great that you have lost 50 pounds in 2 months!! Tomorrow is my 2 month anniversary and I have lost 28 pounds and happy about that!! My whole trick to drinking all my water is PROPELL KIWI STRAWBERRY!!! I could not do with out this now.... I LOVE IT.... and drinking a gallon a day is no problem. It is the only flavored brand I like. The others are terrible to me, but that is just my own opinion. Keep up the great work and have a Great New Year 2005!!! Susan

Congratulations on your loss of 50 pounds! I had my surgery on 11/10/04 and I too have lost 50 pounds. The only difference is that I have so much energy. I'm not getting all my water in either but I'm trying. Eating is not what it used to be, but neither am I. I haven't thrown up for two weeks now. I haven't dumped so far. We all are different and our mileage may vary as far as weight loss is concerned. I am happy as long as it's going down and not up. Just keep on doing what you're doing and add some more water if you can. I have been trying the Fruit2 0 and it has helped me get in more water. Good luck everyone! xoxo Alice Alice From Dallas 285/235/175

I'm SOOO Glad to have found this post! I'm exactly 8 weeks out and down exactly 50#. I was really worried that I haven't lost enough...I've been stuck at 50# for about 14 days. I'm increasing my water gently. This week my goal is 60 oz/day. Next week it will be 80, etc. I just can't get it all in, but beating myself up about it won't do it, either. I've made myself a "chore chart" (just like my son's) and I get a star for each thing I've done right: my categories are Take Vitamins, Following Eating Plan, Drink Goal Amt of Water, Excercise, and Do a Load of Laundry (not WLS related but I'm so terrible at laundry!), and my reward is a trip to the quilt store - ALL ALONE!! So, that's what I'm doing. Hope you all are well. Love love, -Cass Willis Anchorage, Alaska 5'8", WLS 11/17/04 Begin 308#, now 258# cassiemodo.blogspot.com
