Had my hamburger tonight

Well, I finally ate my hamburger tonight, while it was good it was not what I remembered it to be. I also dyed my hair (took the gray out) tonight. I am going to try a whole day at work tomorrow, wish me luck. And oh yeah I am not depressed today. Those hormones are funny how they can sneak up on you and pull you down into the abyss. Isn't it weird how taste buds react to this surgery? I've had several things that I was missing terribly that just didn't thrill me when I finally got to the place where I could eat them, which is ok, just puzzling. Best of luck!

AAAHHHH, A cheeseburger. That is the only craving I have had. I have been longing for a good cheeseburger, but am afraid to try it. How well did it sit with you.

The hamburger (size of a silver dollar) sat ok with me RNY 11-9-04 however did not sit well with hubby RNY 12-14-04. Not what I remembered the taste to be and am not in a hurry to have another. Ya know sometimes things taste different now then before surgery. Lizzi

I swear something must be wrong with me!! LOL Everything tastes exactly the same after the surgery for me. I was able to eat a whole regular cheeseburger patty from McDonald's the other day. It sat just fine and I have been eating hamburger for about 4 weeks now. Had steak yesterday too and it was AMAZING! There are so many days I WISH I had some of the issues others have because without them, I feel like I didn't even have the surgery!! LOL. Congrats on the burger, though wi**** had tasted better for you Erica. 7 weeks post op
