For the first time in year's I am actually looking forward to a new year.... the last few ones have been absolutely horrendous. I look forward to the overcoming of hurdles, the achievement of goals and the realization of dreams. For each of you I wish you the same.
I thank each and everyone of you on this board for your support and your participation... it truly takes alll the voices to make this board the great gift that it is. I bless you for the gift of participation you have freely given and thank you for the candor, the passion, and the selfless support.
For my angel and those of you who have already been angels for others....a special blessing for you...you are helping to fulfill the dreams of those who conceptualized this place and giving back to a community previously ignored, shunned, and even despised. Truly there are many who wish they had the benefit that we do to be in such fortunate times.
Since September of this year I am down approximately 40 lbs. 15 lbs before sugery and approx 25 after. The ramifications of this are huge and I can already see differences in how I move in the world!
For all us, truly this new year will be more than a journey of numbers, but full of individual triumphs and personal mountains climbed. But the great thing is..... we know we are not alone!!! How cool is that!!! This is amazing seeing that I have never laid eyes on any of you!
Anyway before I get too sappy and weird..... Happy New Year to all!!

Happy New Year, praying that all continue to go welll for you, This is my first time on the web site and it has proven to be very encouraging. I had surgery 11/17/04 and I'm down 20lbs, at first I was down about my slow start but I have to remember that the Lap-Band is a bit of a slower weight lost program... Please pray for my stength on my new journey..
