Most of us on this message board just had surgery in November, so I doubt any of us have advice for you! I hope I am at your stage sometime in the future! Congrats on your weight loss!!!

From what I have learned and read.... break all the rules of the pouch. Eat more carbs....Drink fluiids that are sugar laden and carb heavy ....it tends to be absorbed directly and completely from the pouch. Eat more often.... graze. Hope this helps. b

Hi, Here is a link to the article about the rules of the pouch. It has good info on our pouch and it hits on the topic of maintaining weight. There is also a message board for your surgery month, that way you can keep in touch and message with ppl who had surgery at the same time as you, if you need help finding it, just let me know, I'll be glad to help! I hope this link helps you, I printed it out and read it every once in a while to keep up on the info. I of course follow my surgeon's directions first but it is nice to have this info in the back of my mind. Happy New Year and congrats on your amazing weight loss, I am trying my best to exercise and eat so that I can have any weight loss near as much as that in six months!
