I am finding that when I eat I am so very tired. It's almost like my energy is being used up to digest anything. Does this seem normal or is anyone else experiencing this?

Jennifer- Sometimes yes. The thing to think about too though is for some people their "dumping" syndrome is extreme tiredness, they just want to sleep afterwards. So try to look at sugar content of what youre eating it could be that too. Our bodies have been through the ringer and they are adjusting. Also have your doc check your iron level. If you are anemic, it causes extreme tiredness too. Janet

I was thinking that dumping can be shown as tiredness. I am afraid I don't dump, but I also don't think I have eaten anything bad enough to dump. I did have a shortbread cookie but I read the content and the sugar was low and the carbs were under 10 which under 15 is what my nut. says should keep me safe from dumping. I also have severe anemia (didn't preop) and I am tired too. Take Care. Roni

Yes ME TOO!!! The way that I beat that is to eat til I'm satisfied. Not til I'm full. Funny thing is that there is a thin line between the two. Instead of eathing 3 peanut butter crackers at one setting I eat 1 and 1/2 then an hour or two later I eat the other 1 and 1/2 peanut butter crackers. and it works!!!

Well I have never dumped but I sure do get tired sometimes after I eat.....exhausted!! It happens often too, and all I eat is protein. I also get warm sometimes....Sometimes I just dread eating!!!
